It’s only right that I start this blog off with a post introducing myself so… Hello! Let’s jump into to a few little facts about me.
1. Dopal is my middle name. The ‘Dopal’ in ‘Digital Dopal’ is actually my middle name. For a long time, I hid what my middle name was from people, but now I’m embracing it! Shout out to my grandma for passing on her middle name to me.
2. My favorite color is purple. And it’s not just because it’s pretty. Once I learned that purple was a symbol of royalty in biblical times, I ran with it.
3. I’ve recently started my loc journey. I’m about three and a half months in already and I’ve fallen in love with the ease of it. Experiencing the starter loc life with my boyfriend makes it even better. You can find out more about why I started my locs here.
4. I have a love for most things fashion. From a young age, I’ve always been interested in fashion. I always wanted to dress myself and put my own spin on looks. My grandma Netta encouraged my style and my grandma Gladys helped polish it and that paved the way for the style that I have now. By the time December 2019 comes, my degree will make me a bit of an expert.
5. I have a new found appreciation for the world. In the last few months, I’ve committed to bettering the world, even if it’s only by a little bit (because everyone doing a little = a lot of good). I try to reuse and repurpose items, shop used clothing, and produce less waste. I’ve also tried to better myself: physically, mentally and spiritually.
